The popular PEI bluegrass band, Dunromin, began in 2002 as a duo of friends, Vans Bryant and Harold Noye. With Harold on lead vocals and mandolin and Vans on guitar and harmony vocals, the duo specialized in "brother" songs such as those done by Jim and Jesse and the Louvin Brothers.

Later on they were joined by bass player, Marnie Noye, and together they continued to perform at several concerts, community events, and bluegrass festivals on and off PEI. They were also regular performers at the Borden-Carleton Sun-n-Shade Campground when it was owned by the Noye Family. A highlight of their numerous shows was entertaining at the Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside as the opening act for the late Stan Carew of CBC's Weekend Mornings. Along with their many performances in their beginning year, they recorded their first CD, "Making Plans".

After a six year break, Dunromin reunited in 2015 and right away found themselves in the studio recording their second project, "Memories". For this recording, they are very proud to have been nominated for a 2016 Music PEI Award. In the summer of 2015, Dunromin was pleased to welcome fiddler and vocalist, John Campbell, to the group. The band continues to enjoy bluegrass and old time music and keeps very busy entertaining in a variety of venues. They are looking forward to the several concerts and bluegrass festivals they have already booked for the summer of 2016.
